Business Development Executive

Our client is the European Market Leader of Premium Logistics they are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to help them continue to grow in the UK. With 38 offices in 18 countries we are the market leader in our field of time critical logistics. The question is, are you talented enough to help us to conquer the UK market even further?

Working with and reporting directly to the Country Manager, this will be a new business acquisition role. From generating new prospects, through to delivery of new business from a variety of different markets, you will use your talent in developing a portfolio of new customers to help deliver growth.

Ideally you will have the ability to hit the ground running with the experience you have in transports. If not, we will teach you everything about the industry and as long as you have a proven track record in sales and selling Business to Business and have sold in the UK and Ireland as your territory. You will be given an amazing opportunity to grow with us in the coming years.


Researching and finding new sales opportunities
Pipeline and territory strategy development
Engage with prospect organisations through strategic solution based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis etc.
Developing a deep knowledge of our solutions and the industry
Articulate our value proposition to ensure the solutions are understood by the prospect/client.
Building and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers
Developing a personal sales strategy
Ability to produce accurate and timely reports on performance against targets
Experience and contacts within the UK Automotive production sector (ideal but not essential)

In order to apply you will have the following skills and experience..

External sales experience
Extremely proactive
Motivation to sell and gain the rewards that brings
An excellent ability to communicate and be able to grow new relationships with people quickly and honestly
Great presentation skills resulting in a customer investing their trust in you
Motivation to succeed within a truly international organisation and the opportunity that offers
Experience in the transports and logistics industry desired but not essential
Full UK drivers license essential

Benefits:20000-30000, company car or car allowance, flexible bonus structure paid quarterly
