Member Relations Manager

Our CLIENT is one of the fastest-growing palletised distribution networks in the UK, with a comprehensive and expanding service to mainland Europe.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PALLET MEMBER RELATIONS MANAGER covering the Southern territories.

The main purpose of the role is supporting the relationship development between our client and its Members listening to their concerns, identifying commercial opportunities, supporting change and the recruitment of new Member depots to the network as we grow. We want our Members to know that we value them and their contribution to the network through listening and acting on issues - regular communication and field-based meetings are key to the success of this role as is supporting the internal linking of communication to maximise Member Relations Management
Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Work closely with the Member Relations Director / Head of Network Recruitment to identify depots who require consolidation of their postcode area and negotiate the relinquishing of postcode area with depots.
To work with Head of Network Services and Regional Operations Managers to support the new Member implementation plan
To hold structure relationship reviews and follow through on issues raised by Members with our clients managers
To help identify financial, operational, and commercial risk to the network.
To source new member depots.
To present to and negotiate with potential members
To ensure new members are of the quality, operationally/ commercially and financially required by the client.
To ensure Network Member Agreement (contract) between our client and new member are maintained and kept updated

Other Requirements:

The person holding this position must be able to communicate at all levels within the business predominately at Director / senior level. The candidate must be able to present, communicate, negotiate, influence at Director-level, as they are negotiating with existing Members, and recruiting transport companies of varying size and financial standing. Invariably you are presenting to the owner / MD /board etc.

The candidate must be prepared to travel extensively within UK and work away from home on a regular basis.
