HR Leader

We are seeking a dynamic HR Leader to join our HR team reporting to the Regional HR Manager. This challenging role will lead the HR Shared Services Desk and provide support and coaching to line managers and to implement and deliver excellent HR initiatives. This role will require you to be a quick thinker with the ability to drive processes that are essential to keeping my clients business operating.

Your role will be to lead, support and develop the team of administrators and to develop cross functional relationships within the business to develop and build business knowledge and commercial awareness by working closely with managers, employees and team members.

Your main duties and responsibilities are to lead the Shared Service Desk and team of administrators, providing support and developing team members. You will implement End to End HR Lifecycle activities and human resources programs by providing human resources services

Preparing and finalising payroll and working closely with Finance Manager, the payroll 3rd party provider and Management to ensure accurate and timely submission.
Develop Human Resources solutions by collecting and analysing information and recommending courses of action.
Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, coaching and counselling managers and employees.
Coordination and completion of special projects in the whole region by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, fulfilling transactions. Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns, analysing time and cost issues and preparing reports. Will liaise with other HR members and operational points of
contacts for regional projects.
Prepares reports and metrics by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.
Protects organisation's value by keeping information confidential.
Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
Enhances departments and organizations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to role and team.

In order to apply for this role you will have..

Minimum CIPD Level 5 Qualification
Drivers license and must be willing to use own vehicle
Proven knowledge of employment legislation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Diplomatic with good negotiation skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Outstanding administrative and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Assertive and confident
Ability to work with personnel at all levels
Tact and the ability to deal with difficult situations
Proficient IT skills
Advocate of career development and training within the workplace
Strong intercultural and interpersonal skills to support, advise, coach and influence
Attention to detail and ability to manage successfully towards timelines

Working times: Flexible but overall 37.5 hour working week (excluding breaks)
Salary: maximum of £32,000 depending on experience
Annual bonus, pension, length of service, death in service, attendance reward

Benefits:Basic salary of £27,000-32,000; annual bonus; pension; length of service; death in service; attendance reward; flexible but overall 37.5 hour working week
