Internal Sales Coordinator

Our client is a well-established global service provider to the Freight forwarding, express and international parcels, and warehousing and logistics industry
The network has more than 354 locations across 60 countries and with 13,000 employees serving alliance customers and attending to the details of their business round the clock, around the globe.
Based in Paddington opposite Paddington Station in London. We are now looking for a Internal Sales Coordinator. Your role will report into the Sales Director Europe & America

Your role will involve..

New customer account set up/onboarding which will involve..
Liaising with all departments across the group to arrange setup (specifically with IT and Operations)
Sending and receipt of CIF forms, T&Cs to customer
Welcome letter
Confirmation of bank details

Other duties will involve..

Escalation point for Customer Service Department including claims, customer queries including tracking etc
Attending customer visits with the Sales Director/Key Account Manager on an ad hoc basis
Keeping the sales system up-to-date with customer information, contacts, rate etc as provided by the Sales Team
Answering and dealing with inbound telephone calls,
Management of the e-mails from the various general e-mail addresses,
Management of the Facebook page answering to enquiries
Sending customer e-mail updates/price change/important information
Preparation of reports as required by the customer
Update sales pipeline reports for various internal meetings
Taking minutes of meetings as and when required then distribute accordingly
Maintaining a quotation log and ensure relevant teams are informed/updated
Helping in customer quotes when requested
Full organisation of networking events
Liaising with the internal marketing team for graphics, booth structure, furniture etc
Creating and formatting all documentation to ensure branding and processes

We are looking for applying candidates to have:

Experience of working in the freight, courier, postal, supply chain or the retail industry from a sales perspective
Good IT Skills
Flexibility and adaptability and good communication skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent

Benefits:
Annual bonus, pension, length of service, death in service, attendance reward
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and the salary is circa £30,000 per annum.
