Indoor Sales Executive

Our Client is one of the market leaders in distribution and home delivery. Their standards for collection, sortation and delivery are amongst the best in the industry.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a TELESALES EXECUTIVE based out of our clients Northern Distribution Centre in BOLTON.

The Telesales Executive role has three main purposes, firstly to generate / convert leads and provide the sales teams with qualified Appointments within the communicated thresholds and against the communicated criteria. In addition to the provision of the Qualified Appointments, The Telesales Executive will be required to convert lower volume opportunities; both sales and appointment can be achieved by the appropriate use of telephone, e-mail and other communication tools/systems. Additionally, the customer database needs to be actively maintained to ensure it contains quality and up to date information, regarding the calls and conversations that you conduct.

Essential Key skills:
Self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision after agreeing objectives
Excellent communication skills covering presenting and listening
Consistent positive outlook and able to handle rejections
Evidence of working a sales process and selling a value proposition
Thrives in a high volume and results based environment
Good organisation skills
Quick learner who can apply concepts in the real world
Understands a customer perspective
Numerate and literate
Experience in Microsoft standard packages
Working knowledge of CRM systems
Team player, adaptable and flexible

Experience:
Experience in a sales or business service environment is an advantage, especially in POSTAL, EXPRESS PARCELS, LOGISTICS and/or DIRECT MARKETING. A proven track record in telephone lead generation and/or selling is necessary. Competence on the telephone and a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel are vital, as is a methodical approach to keeping electronic records.

£20k - £25k basic salary
Uncapped commission
