Operations Adminstrator

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity as an OPERATION ADMINISTRATOR?

This is a key role within our clients BRISTOL mailing operation, and you will be help manage the day-to-day operational processes and administration working within a brilliant team of people.
Accurately handle a range of daily administrative tasks involving operational forecasts, collections bookings & consumable orders and delivery
Regularly communicate with other internal departments, customers, and mailing houses
Print labels for mailing houses and despatch via carrier
Handle return mail and record details of seed items
Support Operations Manager & Operations Director on any projects & developments
Provide support across all areas of the operation especially Account Management

We welcome applications for this Operations Administrator role from candidates with experience in the following areas: Administration, Fleet, Procurement, Procurement Administrator, Document Control, IT Literate, Admin, Data Analysis, Communication, Reporting, MS Office, Data Entry, Customer Service.

Essential Skills
As Operations Administrator you will:
Excellent and confident communicator both verbally and in writing; able to communicate complex information effectively, in order to influence and gain commitment from internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels.
Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the requirements of clients, expectations of project sponsors and the capabilities of technical staff & vendors, and to manage these competing drivers to deliver a balanced solution
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to multiple and frequently demanding deadlines for self and the team
Able to manage time effectively in order to achieve daily and weekly tasks on time
Able to produce consistently accurate work with a high level of attention to detail even when working under pressure. A right first time mentality
Ability to quickly learn various internal systems


Desired Skills
To be able to fulfil the needs of this Operations Administrator role we would anticipate the successful candidate will have around two years' experience of:
Working in an office-based or other administration role
Handling inbound & outbound communications in various formats including telephone & email
Working with software programs such as Word & Excel

Due to the nature of our business, this role may be subject to a basic DBS check.
